Dear Readers:
The new January Cover Story is out at DNJournal.com and for the 6th consecutive year are kicking off the New Year with our annual State of the Industry report. We asked 16 of the industry's leading domain investors and developers, top level company executives, monetization experts and attorneys to evaluate the key events and trends of the past year and to predict what they see ahead in 2010. As always, to keep things fresh, we called on several new contributors as well as respected industry veterans who have shared their expertise with us in the past.
As you know, the severe global recession that started in 2008 and continued through 2009 hasn't been kind to many businesses, including our own. Though we have fared better than most others, especially the traditional media platforms with whom domain owners and developers directly compete for advertising revenue, the domain industry has had to shoulder more than a little pain of its own. The important question now is having gone through a major downturn, is the worst behind us? Can we expect better times in 2010? Our panel of experts has the answers. You can read what they have to say here: http://www.dnjournal.com/cover/2010/january.htm
The DNJournal.com email update service and our free monthly newsletter are made possible through the sponsorship of DomainSponsor.com, Moniker.com and Snapnames.com – Members of the Oversee.net family and pioneers in providing the full range of domain lifecycle services, from registration to traffic monetization to aftermarket sales and service.
Best Wishes,
