Ejemplo:  google_ad_client = "ca-pub-3992434031717571";

Arrow Setting Custom Channels for AdSense for Mobile Content

Is there any way you can set Custom Channels for the newly-implemented AdSense for Mobile Content?

AdSense runs seperate reports, and channels, for "AdSense for Content" and "AdSense for Mobile Content".

I assume what Telnic have done is to take the Publisher ID entered in the CTH for "AdSense for Content" e.g. ca-pub-1234567890123456 and generate the "AdSense for Mobile Content" equivalent of ca-mb-pub-1234567890123456.

But the 2 Advert IDs defined in the CTH, which enable you to specify 1 or more Custom Channels, are for defining the 250x250 pixel "AdSense for Content" ads, not the mobile ones served under "AdSense for Mobile Content".

So it does look as if there is currently no way of defining Custom Channels for Mobile ads - the only workaround is to define all your .tels under the URL Channel heading (max 500).

A question for Telnic - are Custom Channels for AdSense Mobile ads likely to be definable in the future?

am assuming you're asking as you want to be able to track which tel and page on the tel generated the click. this can be done via the advanced reports and displays data via the ad unit name.

i.e. when I look at the report for http://italianrestaurants.tel/ via the ad unit it counts all views as its per unit (mobile and web).

Hi Mike,
I experimented with in small control panel and got the following results.
1st if you put the mb-pub-(your number) you get Admob ads, but you lose adsense.
2nd if you put the pub-(your number) you get AdSense ads, but you lose Admob ads.
Your suggestion is excellent to put in the control panel and a special section for admob ads.

Example with mb-pub(your number) http://www.flickr.com/photos/leskovac/6106199931

Example with pub-(your number) http://www.flickr.com/photos/leskovac/6106020875

How to solve this problem?

I noticed that with Pills.tel the adsense code originally used 1 year ago would not display on mobile.

The Google Adsense manager allows you define that you are using mobile ads now. (which I did not know).

Important: So when you select mobile ads your new publisher ID will have the MB in it now for mobile, it will then ask you what channel you are using. Since I had not used any mobile ads yet you just Name new mobile channels and select them for use.

Make sense?

@leskovac

I started using: ca-mb-pub-(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) Because use of the other pub-(xxxxxx) did not display.

So when I did start using the mobile ads publisher It had new channels for mobile ads...

I'm not sure if its displaying admob ads or google ads? :-) You could check it here http://waikiki.tel

Cheers

Default Google ads on desktop and mobile.

Leskovac,

Thank you very much for that advice. Putting ca- before pub- in my Adsense ID number gave an immediate result.

I've only put it on one site just now - I'm off to the Pub before it closes, and I'll raise a glass to you.

Best wishes,

Cómo activar los dominios .tel en el Webmaster de google

When I bought a domain http://webwizo.tel/ I had been trying to verify my domain ownership into Google Webmaster Tools since couple of days. But, suddenly I have found an article about verification process and I intend to share with you guys.

Before buy this domain I saw a TV Commercial regarding how .TEL domain can beneficial for professionals and your business and I intended to learn how it works. However, I had found really interesting thing after purchase .TEL domain. E.g. .TEL domain works with DNS and it updates your content at server within a minute, which means you don't need a technical skills or knowledge of web development. It is just work One-Step click program.

TV Commercial

http://telnic.org/ which provides you a control panel to manage .TEL domain data, template and pages as well as your change will be applied within a minute and your data will LIVE!

Remember: There is no page where you put your HTML code etc., regards the same you need to put code to verify your .TEL domain in Google Webmaster Tools without creating an HTML page, I am writing a tip for you that you can verify your domain easily with below steps:

  1. Open Google Webmasters Central
  2. Click "Add a site" button and put your .tel URL (e.g. http://webwizo.tel)
  3. Click Continue… button
  4. Click Alternate methods tab/link
  5. Choose Add a DNS record to your domain's configuration
  6. Choose Other from the Dropdown list
  7. Select and copy the Google Site Verification string that appears
  8. Now, Open a new browser window/tab
  9. Open your .TEL domain control panel by http://telnic.org
  10. In the "Keyword" section click the "Add +" button
  11. Select "Free Text"
  12. Paste the Google Site Verification string into the "Free text" textarea
  13. Click the "Save" button
  14. Wait for your .tel domain to update the backend DNS servers (this usually takes 0-120 seconds, but can take longer, so please be patient)
  15. Switch back to the Google Webmaster Central window
  16. Click the "Verify" button
  17. Congratulations, your .tel domain should now be verified with Google Webmaster Central

Google analiza los subdominios internos de los .tel

Google Classifies Subdomains As Part Of The Main Domain Now
Very relevant to our purposes...

http://googlewebmastercentral.blogsp...-external.html

...

Today we're making a change to the way we categorize link data in Webmaster Tools. As you know, Webmaster Tools lists links pointing to your site in two separate categories: links coming from other sites, and links from within your site. Today's update won't change your total number of links, but will hopefully present your backlinks in a way that more closely aligns with your idea of which links are actually from your site vs. from other sites.

You can manage many different types of sites in Webmaster Tools: a plain domain name (example.com), a subdomain (www.example.com or cats.example.com), or a domain with a subfolder path (www.example.com/cats/ or www.example.com/users/catlover/). Previously, only links that started with your site's exact URL would be categorized as internal links: so if you entered www.example.com/users/catlover/ as your site, links from www.example.com/users/catlover/profile.html would be categorized as internal, but links from www.example.com/users/ or www.example.com would be categorized as external links. This also meant that if you entered www.example.com as your site, links from example.com would be considered external because they don't start with the same URL as your site (they don't contain www).

Most people think of example.com and www.example.com as the same site these days, so we're changing it such that now, if you add either example.com or www.example.com as a site, links from both the www and non-www versions of the domain will be categorized as internal links. We've also extended this idea to include other subdomains, since many people who own a domain also own its subdomains—so links from cats.example.com or pets.example.com will also be categorized as internal links for www.example.com.

If you own a site that's on a subdomain (such as googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com) or in a subfolder (www.google.com/support/webmasters/) and don't own the root domain, you'll still only see links from URLs starting with that subdomain or subfolder in your internal links, and all others will be categorized as external links. We've made a few backend changes so that these numbers should be even more accurate for you.

Note that, if you own a root domain like example.com or www.example.com, your number of external links may appear to go down with this change; this is because, as described above, some of the URLs we were previously classifying as external links will have moved into the internal links report. Your total number of links (internal + external) should not be affected by this change.

Taxinumbers.tel ejemplo de como ocultar los subdominios en los domimios.tel

Finally made Tel of the week with Taxinumbers.tel, very pleased as none of my other .tels have had that honour.
Cool. Nice use of hidden subdomains.
